Well you all have already ID'd a fossil for me , so I'm in the right place. I am 22 years old, born and raised in Jenks, OK. Through a long and confusing journey, I have an associate's degree in criminal justice, and am fixing to head back to school for my bachelor's in anthropology. I hope to one day specialize, as of now, in paleoanthropology, paleoarchaeology, or paleontology.
Today there remain but a few small areas on the world's map unmarked by explorers' trails. Human courage and endurance have conquered the Poles; the secrets of the tropical jungles have been revealed. The highest mountains of the earth have heard the voice of man. But this does not mean that the youth of the future has no new worlds to vanquish. It means only that the explorer must change his methods.

Thanks for the quick welcome! Haha. I've wanted this kind of career my whole life, ever since I saw my first Indiana Jones movie. Later I realized there's actual, you know, science involved, but I was still hooked.

Hi neighbor, welcome from Texas. :D

Welcome, I'm in Skiatook,OK. We live in a good place for fossils. I'm an extreme beginner who is just amazed by the local fossils around the Skiatook area. Glad to see there's someone in the area who is in this forum.
