Hello all... I've done quite a few outdoor hobbies over the years. I've done gold panning, rock hounding, metal detecting (Still do that), and have found a few fossils over the years living on the coast here.
I recently got bit by the fossil bug, and now have my girlfriend and her son hooked as well now.
We hit a creek in the knightsville area in SC for about 4 hours this past weekend with some decent finds.

Even though I'm new myself, welcome! Lots of great looking stuff there, even if I may not know what it all exactly is haha. I've heard you can get a lot of stuff out east, very jealous.
Today there remain but a few small areas on the world's map unmarked by explorers' trails. Human courage and endurance have conquered the Poles; the secrets of the tropical jungles have been revealed. The highest mountains of the earth have heard the voice of man. But this does not mean that the youth of the future has no new worlds to vanquish. It means only that the explorer must change his methods.

Welcome from another Texan. Love that nice black Hemipristis you got.
In formal logic, a contradiction is the signal of defeat: but in the evolution of real knowledge, it marks the first step in progress toward victory.
