Hi John, I'll get into reading these pdfs etc later, but for now, any idea yet what this means for you? Did the BCPA get their way completely, is it 'protected' from any amateur collecting whatsoever and does the protection cover all of the exposures incl. Kitty Litter quarry etc, not just your work site?

I don't know what I can say on the topic as I am still under a non-disclosure agreement.
I have contacted the person in Victoria for advice along these lines so I do not get accused of breaking the agreement:

Oh this is so sad. So many kids have found out how exciting science can be from visiting McAbees and collecting a few fossils. I've been twice and hoped to go again this summer. Well, I guess not. I will miss it! Many thanks John for keeping it open for so long!
