I’d like to note to all members and chat room users that policies of the chat room and how it is administered have changed. Due to some unforeseen events the moderator team as well as the administers have decided that a stricter enforcement of the rules shall be implemented immediately.

General Rules:

-As always the forums rules apply to the chat room as well, they can be found at this link: http://www.thefossil...hp?showtopic=19

-The chat room is a rated G area, and often used by those underage please keep conversations appropriate.

-Discussions about illicit or illegal behavior will not be tolerated.

-Please be courteous and polite.

-No flooding.

-Keep all shared photos appropriate.

-Do not disregard warnings from moderators
.

Now the administration has implemented a new system which is the main thing being announced in the post. All transcripts of the chat room are recorded and read by the moderating team, by joining and engaging in the chat room members hereby agree to this arrangement. We are mentioning this out of respect to out members that they maintain informed consent and acknowledgment of this new system.

Small rule breaking will result in warnings and a possible temporary ban from the chat room.

More serious rule breaking will result in a temporary or permanent ban.

If you are banned from the chat, eventually you will receive a pm from a member of the moderating team explaining why. All bans may be appealed, you can do this by private messaging an administrator where we will review the incident and vote accordingly.

Note: Moderation of members may occur with or without warning depending on the severity of the action done within the chat.

Everyone has that, it doesn't necessarily mean anything.

it's just the label for the bar that you're not seeing because you haven't been warned about anything. if you'd been messing up and gotten dinged then you'd see a red bar partially advanced over toward the trigger for the trap door.

or something like that. the admins never let me play with the switches and stuff to see how it works.

If they did, I can only imagine the hilarity that would ensue. Could be fun!
