Frank Menser
Not a big collector of Echinoids (pick em up when I see them but otherwise... Did a trade with our fellow forum member Nala and he was kind enough to include several samples from his native France... Made me go back through the collection and pull out a nymber of under appreciated gems... And a special pair collected by my grandmother as a young girl almost 100 years ago.. So...let's see what y'all have... Be true to the reality you create.

RJB
Years ago I was gettin into the echy's and found and aquired quite a few when the Green River fishys got in the way, then a couple of years later, the little crabbys got in the way of the fishys, (and still does) but I still have boxes and boxes of echys that are still in need of prep, but here are some that are in my collection. But here again, here are some photos of some echys found in New Zealand. I only wish I could afford to go back. Nice crabs there too!!! The last photo is a very rare echnoid. Only wish i could remember the name of the dang thing? RB

NAUfrogger
Sorry, I tried to cough up a better camera with these but no luck! I started with the biggest one as it was the most painful to get up! It's about four inches in length. The second is about three inches, the third about an inch and a half and the last one about 3/4 inch. NAUfrogger
I've got jars of these from Austin and Dallas both. When I moved to Texas and found my first one, I thought it was so incredible and rare since I had not found any in OK or AZ but since being here now about seven years, I have at times almost lost appreciation for these since they seem so common but every now and then, I find a gem. I only keep the best now. I don't really clean them up much and I think the little worm tubes on the large one are cool.
