Hey Ameenah! I think I've stood right where your dog is standing, it was back in the early spring when the water level was way down. That outcrop and the shoreline was packed with people fishing and picknicking so I didn't get a good look at things, I did notice huge chunks of coral laying around though!

Yes lots of coral all over. I like to go during the week not many people.

Very cool spot, it reminds me a lot of some sites I used to frequent back in Ontario. Those nautiloids seem to possibly be silicified, I bet you could etch out some nice specimens with dilute acetic or muriatic acid. Just check on the FF for advise first if you want to try that and haven't done it before.

Don it's to late it's all under water now we had some much needed rain but it cut out most of my lake hunting unless I want to Wade in the water .........which just as I'm typing this I think I just may go put my boots on and go for a while I'll post in the morning if i go and find anything good.
