    This nice small carapace is one of the more common crabs from the Castle Hayne. This one has much of the original shell intact making it very special.

    don't recall prominent pustules on mine. Beautiful specimen!

    Sweet crab!  My one specimen also lacks pustules, but I assume it's just a little weathered and yours is pristine.

    Both of my E. carolinensis have pustules, this one is the best of the two, although the smaller one.
