Diagnosis from Factor & Feldman 1985, p. 328: "Bivalved phyllocarid. Elongate telson with medial longitudinal carina, longer than pretelson segment, dorsally flexed at posterior end. Uropods reduced, blade-like, pretelson segment elongate. Fifth abdominal segment with circular notch in antero-ventral corner of pleuron.
