    Burmese amber is around 99.6 mya. There are various other inclusions in this piece.

     

    Edit: According to Danilo Harms from the University of Hamburg, this is a juvenile Chernetidae member.

    They’ve got claws for hands just like scorpions actually, but no stingers.

    They look just like the venom sacks on modern scorpion tails. Interesting.

    They just have very small claws. Below is a picture of the recent species Wyochernes sp. with clear claws. Pseudoscorpions don't have stingers but some species do inject poison with their claws. They are harmless for humans thought.

    Very cool! I've found living pseudoscorpions in my house twice; they're tiny!

     

    In both cases, they were relocated into my houseplant pots.
