    • Juvenile Allothrissops salmoneus. There are two Allothrissops species: A. salmoneus from the Solnhofen lithgraphic limestones in Bavaria and A. mesogaster from the slightly older deposits in Nusplingen, Baden-Württemberg. The small dorsal fin is located behind the anal fin.
