Description from Südcamp 2017, p. 34: "The colonies of this tubulate coral are more or less circular in outline. The lower side shows concentric growth lines that give it a wrinkled appearance. The upper side reveals the polygonal form of the corallites, which is often hexagonal. The corallites are of different sizes and the thick walls are perforated by pores. Tabulae are usually absent. This gives the colony the appearance of a series of cavities."
Identified by oilshale using Südkamp 2017.
