    Comments

    Self collected specimen. This echinoid described by Porter Kier in "The Echinoids of the Middle Eocene Warley Hill Formation, Santee Limestone, and Castle Hayne Limestone of North and South Carolina", 1980 as a new species. Extremely rare.

     

    * I have edited this post, as I realized I had inadvertently put up incorrect pictures. The pictures I had put up were of an echinoid that is also a Eupatagus species, but not E. wilsoni.
