This species is the most common fossil found in the Beaumaris Sandstone. As this is species is adequately represented in public collections in Australia I was able to receive permission to export from David J. Holloway, Senior Curator, Invertebrate Paleontology, Museum Victoria. Dr. Holloway determined that these fossils did not require an export permit under the Protection of Moveable Cultural Heritage Act 1986 and wrote a letter to me stating this.
