    Comments

Lingulichnus verticalis (Hakes, 1976). The elliptical shaped and concave burrows or holes were made by a linguloid brachiopod burrowing in the sediment. I took this plate home as I have never seen so many Lingulichnus burrows on one plate. Rock is limestone and was most likely mud before it lithified.
