    User Feedback

The Taxonomy is (to say the least) uncertain: "Vetulicolians are one of the most problematic and controversial Cambrian fossil groups, having been considered as arthropods, chordates, kinorhynchs, or their own phylum." (citation from Garcia-Bellido et al.) "Recently examined Vetulicolian fossils show the presence of notochord-like structures. Therefore, it can be concluded that vetulicolians are crown-group  chordates and probably the sister group of modern tunicates." (citation from Wikipedia, article 'Vetulicolia')
