Absolutely amazing fossil specimen. Is this truly a plant (flower) ? Or some sort of invertebrae ?

Like a pine cone, cut in its length.

This is certainly a plant fossil. As Coco wrote, you're looking at an axial section through the female cone of an Araucarian conifer. This particular specimen is unusual in that it is cut while still embedded in the host rock. On the left hand-side you can further see a part of a branch, which is also cut longitudinally. The remainder of the rock littered with little twigs and fragments.
