Fossils I've found in the northern Illinois area, probably from the Galena or Platteville groups of the Ordovician Period. However, many were found in creek beds with no exposed rock strata and may have traveled here from further north via glacier.

Based on the enamel "shelf" on the labial side, I would have IDed this as a retroflexus. May I ask what features indicate desori?
