Ancient Invertebrates

Ancient Invertebrates
My collection of various invertebrates, such as crinoids, bivalves, and belemnites. Though invertebrates make up the vast majority of extant animals - up to 97%, their fossil record do not reflect their past population. This is due to the rarity of soft-bodied animals such as jellyfishes, hydras, flatworms etc being fossilized; instead, it is the hard-bodied ones like trilobites, crustaceans, and mollusks which are frequently found.
