Alright @RJB I never thought ill of you before but if by chance you became sick and bedridden I would certainly not be opposed to taking into custody your catchy crustaceans.

I don't think that's possible, Ron. :)

No way Ron. Keep em coming. I especially enjoy your crab prep threads since I don't have a prepping space right now.

You are one of the few that are proud to have "crabs".

But they are such nice crabs, I wouldn't mind catching a few Myself.

They are all amazing.  Whenever you have one that you don't want anymore.  I'll take it.  I would like to collect one of these crabs.

Thank you fossil hound.  Thank Brett breaking rocks for helping me again.

I love your work, Ron.. best of the best.  Crabs, Lobster, Ammonites, Nautiloids.....

Just my curiosity, what would be a price range at auction for one of these beauties?

Or is there a website I can look for crabs with comparable quality?

Thanks very much for all the sharing you do. It has enriched my sense of wonder and beauty.... just to watch them being prepped..

RJB, these are truly fascinating and I'm sure everyone who sees this has the urge to own one. Have you ever prepped a crab on its ventral surface? I think that would be rather interesting to see that and I bet it would stand out to customers (at least to me).

RJB, Just to continue the idea- is the matrix strong enough to support prepping both the top and bottom, with a "donut" of substrate supporting the limbs?

Ive actually been thinking of doing something like that with a New Zealand Tumido crab.  Just need to find the right candidate.  This winter hopefully.
