Crustacean Fossils of the Pliocene era in South East Queensland.

These fossil were found washed up onto the beaches on the Gold Coast Australia. Dredging offshore is the most likely cause of their appearance. 

These have been identified as Podophthalmus vigil : Sentinel Crabs (Weber, 1795).
