Misc. Cenozoic Specimens

Misc. Cenozoic Specimens

These are a lot of my miscellaneous teeth from a number of different localities. They are all Cenozoic in age.

Nice collection, and from a variety of localities we do not often get to see!

I especially like the ones from Japan for some reason; I guess I wasn't aware that such specimens could come from there.

Nice collection. I think the ages and formations are incorrect for a few. I’m not aware of River Bend exposures in the area of the Meherrin River. I would guess that the tooth is younger, probably chubutensis. Some of the meg ledge teeth are most likely younger than Miocene Pungo Formation. The C. carcharias is most likely Pliocene or younger and the Parotodus is probably Pliocene.

I'll take a look and redo the labels when I get to them.

Thank you! I really appreciate your feedback.
