Brasilia decipiformis (Dietze 2014)

This ammonite, with a circumference of 45cm. is the largest I've found in the Geisingen clay pit. It's not quite complete and I estimate it must have been over half a meter. I found it in 2 parts. The first part in the fall and the second just by coincidence in the springtime. You can easily see the spot where it's been repaired. Found at the bottom of the Geisingen Oolith, Bradfordensis Zone, Upper Aalenian. It was originally described as B.decipiens but was revised in Dec.2014 by Dietze etal to the above name.
