NSR Ischyrhiza mira teeth

Foshunter

Ischyrhiza or sawfish teeth are very difficult to find complete, teeth at top of photo are slightly worn or broken. Teeth were found over a period of time on various gravel bars in the North Sulphur River--Tom

I am so jealous. I have always wanted to live near a fossiliferous surface collecting area like the North Sulphur River. Instead I find myself in Houston, where the only collecting area are a few accessible river sandbars.

When I was last at the North Sulphur River, I collected some bags of redbed and found some beautifully preserved sawfish teeth about 2mm long.

Love all your pictures... thanks for sharing.
