Alligaticeras alligatum (Leckenby 1859)
No, it's not an alligator. At any rate , it's an early representative of the family Perisphinctidae. 5.5cm. Found recently in Ueken, Swiss Jura in the turbulent border crossover layers between Mid(Callovian) and Upper(Oxfordian) Jurassic. Cordatus/Lamberti zones.
