Jurassic ammonites from Germany. The one on top (Garantiana sp.) must be from the Sengenthal mine, the three below are from the Buttenheim cave (from left to right: Pleuroceras solare, Grammoceras sp.).

To my knowledge, Grammoceras has never been found at Buttenheim. The top layers there are Lias epsilon. Grammoceras comes first in Lias zeta.
