That's a really nice one. Years ago, I saw one at or just under 2 1/4 inches. It was one of those deeply-hooked teeth and it was complete.

The formation is the Round Mountain Silt. "Temblor" is a name for another formation exposed farther north (but also marine Middle Miocene).
