This is an Orytocephalus indicus, from the Cambrian of Kaili, Guizhou, China. Although not the best preservation of an oryctocephalus, i am already overjoyed to have a specimen of this species. Although it is small, the rarity is huge.

Oryctocephalus is the one of the earliest trilobites of the order corynexochida. You can say Oryctocephalus is closely related to the ancestor for most, if not all, corynexochiid trilobites, including the famed paralejurus and scutellids.
