Staufenia staufensis (Oppel 1856)

17cm. Calcite mold with a window opening up into the septa. What you see here is just the phragmocone. The creature was probably originally at least twice as large. From the staufensis bank, bradfordensis zone, upper Aalenian in the Wutach Valley.
