Is that normal to have fossils associated with the flint like that? Looks great!

the ursins and the flint are in the same layers, so its not frequent but nor rare either. It happens from time to time that ursin get partially or totaly fossilize in flint instead of calcite. Despite i didnt get that luck, u can also find flint ursins on the loose amongst the peebles. They survive longer than others to the strenght of the tide. The flint in those cliffs is mostly black.The bad part bout that block is ursins are in a wrong position. The good part is one is calcite and the other flint. I removed the chalk where i could, the "hole" isnt natural indeed, but u cant remove the flint without destroying everything.

Ill give a bit of info on the place they were found when i post my trip report there. Good web site despite only in french.
