Your fossils are an amazing collection, I spend hours looking.. you obviously spend a good part of the daylight hours working with fossils. The specimens are top notch and well prepared and identified.. Very nicely done .. there should be a honorable mention for the best fossil gallery.. There are lots of nice galleries but I am very attracted to yours..

Thanks very much for the praise! I really appreciate that! I suppose it's a matter of taste and interest, but I still feel very honored by your comments. You're right. Now that I'm semi retired, I can spend a lot of time at the workbench. One of these days I hope to get out to the west coast and I'd love to visit you if I do manage that. It may still take a few years, but nevertheless...

It bothers me a little that superb galleries like yours just pass along the "conveyor belt" at the top of the home page, then are lost. There really should be a permanent place, as separate webpages in Fossil Forum, for better-done galleries, which appeal to specialists.

Thanks for your thoughts, Diceros. I understand what you mean, but I do get quite a few extremely positive comments like yours. That, and also the number of views, shows that quite a few users are nevertheless interested in this gallery. I know that some members drop by regularly to keep up to date on my collection. The problem would be, where do you draw the line? I guess it would be best if the members maybe had a chance to vote on their favorite galleries.
