Large Crocodile Vertebra (view one)

Paleoworld-101

Description: This is the best of the crocodilian vertebrae that i collected at Bouldnor. It is the biggest and has much of it's neural processes largely still intact which is rare as the bones from this site are almost all heavily beach worn and broken. It is from the Alligatoroid Diplocynodon hantoniensis. Collected on my second day at Bouldnor (28/11/13).

Geological Formation: Bouldnor Formation

Age: 28-30 million years old
