Four Dinosaur Bone Fragments and Wood

Paleoworld-101

Description: This is all four of the dinosaur bones that i collected on my trip to Brook and Brightsone Bay on the Isle of Wight, alongside a piece of wood (left) from the same location. The wood fragments litter the entire stretch of coast and are far more abundant than the dinosaur bones. Telling them apart can be tricky from a distance as they look very similar to the black-coloured bones. Collected on 29/11/13.

Geological Formation: Wessex Formation

Age: About 125 million years old

Location: Between Brook and Brighstone Bay, Isle of Wight, UK

Yep, though it is starting to crack and fall apart as you can see in this picture.
