Sus scrofa or S.scrofa domestica (Linnaeus 1758)

Ludwigia

40 cm.long. On one of my (as yet unsuccessful) forays through the local ravines in search of pleistocene mammal fossils, I stumbled upon this upper jaw with cranium of a recently deceased hog with practically all of the teeth intact. It's not a fossil in the real sense of the word, but it sure makes for an interesting display and is a good companion for the dog.
