Description: Two pieces of turtle shell from the less common genus of turtle present at Bouldnor- Trionyx, which was a soft shelled turtle. These were among the only Trionyx pieces i collected as the vast majority belong to Emys.

Geological Formation: Bouldnor Formation

Age: 28-30 million years old

Location: Bouldnor beach, Isle of Wight, UK

Cheers! I just checked out the one you are talking about and i agree the resemblance is strong! Trionyx was even suggested by someone, i can see why. Very cool ripple marks!
