Description: Underside of the thickest piece of turtle shell that i have collected at Bouldnor (close to 2cm thick). It belongs to the genus Emys and was found on 30/11/13.

Geological Formation: Bouldnor Formation

Age: 28-30 million years old

Location: Bouldnor beach, Isle of Wight, UK
