Theropod Teeth
Two uncommon theropod teeth are photographed here. To the left, an Allosaurus tooth in matrix, from the Morrison Formation of Wyoming (Jurassic, 150 to 145 MYA). To the right, the tip of an unidentified theropod tooth from the Woodbine Formation of Texas (Cretaceous, 100 to 90 MYA).
For scale, the allo tooth is 1/2" long..
