Assortment of Fossil From Giles Counry Tennessee
The Waldron Formation is commonly shale containing silt and fossiliferous limestone beds that are reeflike in places., The Waldron in Giles County Tennessee is a thin from a few inches to five feet in thickness. The fossils in the Giles County site are composed to calcite replacement and most specimens are highly articulated. The Silurean area was a shallow and uneven sea that contains a great variety of species.
