Termite Coprolites in Petrified Wood - Aachen, Germany
This small piece of a conifer branch was found in Upper Cretaceous deposits excavated for the Buschtunnel in Aachen, Germany. In the lower left of the cut face there is a tiny termite tunnel filled with coprolites.
