GMR Modern Turtle Skull

Photo one, side angled top view.
Neat little modern turtle skull I found in GMR. Someone accidentally set a box on top of it and crushed it the day after I brought it home. So, I painstakingly glued it piece by piece back together. I've not yet ID'd the species of turtle.

It is the skull of a common snapping turtle. It is modern and not a fossil.

Yea I showed it to George here, Rick, and he informed me it was modern too. I still think it's pretty cool to have come across one that large in the little creek though!
