Closeup Of A Rip cut.

Found on an Austin Gem & Mineral field trip to the Bordovsky farm. Karnes county......Sat on my back porch for 8 years. Realized a nice man was collecting Mennegoxylon jonesii specimens and sold it to Rod Miller. Who sent me these spectacular images of the innards. I could not bring myself to cut it. But- when you need gas money for cutting rough collection & backpacking?
