PA Fossil Finder

Caecums are tiny gastropods that eat microscopic organisms that live on sand grains. This is from microfossil matrix collected from a dredge spoil pile near Merritt Island, Florida. This might be a recent shell, I've found lots of recent shells in this matrix.
