Pseudoatrypa devoniana (Webster 1921)

This looks like another Spinotrypa. I found a number of these on my last trip to Penn Dixie.

Could be, but Dave seems to think otherwise, since he's seen views of it from other perspectives.

You may want to compare to some pics I recently posted in my Middle Devonian Gallery of both species. I do respect Dave's opinion.

Ok, Jeff. Will do. Dave's opinion is based on the deep curvature of the brachial valve, which isn't visible in this photo.

Silly me!! Jeff was right all along. I had uploaded the wrong photo. Now it should be correct.
