"Sternberger Kuchen"

"Sternberger Kuchen", a glacial drift sediment stone found on the North Sea coast. Upper Oligocene from Zarrentin, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. This is full of mostly fossilized bivalves and gastropods, two samples of which can be seen in the previous posts in this gallery.

No, I got this and the gastropods on our favorite auction site. I'd however love to find one myself someday.
