I have a strong suspicions the one on the right is a Colpocoryphe grandis.  At least, the cephalon is definitely that species.  Check it against my thread (an unexpected gift).  Also check the pygidium, the flanks are smooth in Colpocoryphe and they have visible pleural ribs in Flexicalymene.

I think you are right. After your prep adventures, I made some changes to my own database as I did have a few with the "smooth flanks."
