Eocoelopoma curvatum fish skull.

gremlinshow

This is a very fine 3D fish skull. Most Sheppey fish are found crushed but this one has been lucky.

Did you prep it?

How did you determine the species(just looking at Monsch's review of Eocene scombrids now)

Believe it or not it did not require very much preparation. But the little prep I did do was with a scalpel and pins.

The top of the skull is very much intact and the I.d was made using the SheppeyFossils website and a book on the Fossils of the London clay of Sheppey and Essex.
