 I found these in Northern California quite a few years ago in the Falore Formation.  I think these are Mytilus californianus?  These are quite large!

Woah ... 2 of those in a white wine and butter sauce and I'd be done !! .... Wow, mother nature was using some miracle grow back then.  Though ..  funny thing is I may have seen some of these Gastropods etc ... on the forum back in California.  haha.  I think it was @Bev (?) that convinced me to slide on over to this forum when the California site went defunct.  That was many moons ago.
