Greenops Trilobite from Madison Co., NY.

Nice find - nearly complete, too! Is this a G. boothi, or are the Greenops at DSR (still?) not described? The more stunted lappets seem to look like G. boothi, but that may be passing resemblance.

Hi Kane, referencing the BingWeb site. Karl Wilson states that what was Greenops boothi has been divided into at least two separate species. I would say all or least most of DSR finds are Greenops barberi. However I hesitate to commit to that and so I'm just calling them Greenops sp. for now. Thanks for your interest.
