Very cool!

Quite a long time ago I posted about this species from the very late Pleistocene Champlain Sea deposits.  I knew it was found in similar nodules in Greenland, but I did not know they were early Pleistocene. That makes them about 2 million years older than the Champlain Sea specimens.

Don,

I am going by what I am seeing online (fossilmall).

I am having trouble locating any kind of papers on these nodules.

There doesn't seem to be a ton of information out there.  :(

Very cool little fish!  Did it come with the 'top' piece of rock?  and where can I get one?

Thats too bad, but still a really cool little fish.  I find myself scrolling back up just to get another look at it.  Love the verts on this thing too.
