Statigraphy: Pinecrest Sand Member of the Tamiami Formation
Location: SMR Phase 8 Pit, Sarasota County, Florida USA.
Status: Extant
Notes: Olsson & Harbinson (1953) note some differences from recent specimens but not enough in their opinion to separate as a new species or subspecies.
