I am not certain what this is -- probably a beach-worn steinkern of a bivalve -- but it certainly is not a "turtle head."

I didn't know the exact terminology.... sorry. So it could be the steinkern  of a turtle head correct?

No, it has nothing to do with a turtle other than in your imagination.  You are experiencing pareidolia.

It’s the inside of a sea shell, they fill with sediment and harden over millions of years and when they are tossed around in the waves the shell can fall apart leaving the cast of the inside.
